We are so grateful for the outpouring of support for Earth Matters game among climate literacy educators, influencers, and board game enthusiasts. They’ve inspired us to launch an ambassador program to broaden the game’s reach into new communities.

Announcing Partners in Play, our Ambassador Program

Over the past few months, the number of authentic voices in support of Earth Matters has grown significantly. In search of a way to both harness and support this positive energy around climate awareness, we created an ambassador program. Climate literacy educators, influencers, and board game enthusiasts have joined us in promoting the game. You can too.

Britt the EJ Educator, our first Partner in Play, develops and implements educational resources for all ages. She incorporates the game into climate literacy programming, instruction, and content. “Earth Matters is very suitable and standards-based for 5th-grade classrooms. It’s become part of the curriculum when covering biodiversity, cooling Earth’s temperatures, and renewable energy,” she says.

“I love that it is a board game rooted in teaching fundamentals of our climate emergency without fear. I know the game is for kids, but whenever I play it with new folks, including older kids and adults, everyone learns something new from it. It’s very dynamic and accessible,” says Britt.

When asked what inspires you most about Earth Matters, Britt said, “Every time a child pulls a card that has them list what they know about types of birds or their sustainable habitats, or say, 'I didn’t know that!’ I know I’m making a difference.”

Your unique code can be shared throughout your community – at workshops, through social media channels, classrooms, and more. Your customers will receive a 20% discount for every purchase, and you will receive 10% of each sale. As a Partner in Play member, we’ll work with you to develop promotional materials, such as a one-sheet, to help you promote the game in your unique way. You will have access to a file of resources and the opportunity to customize your outreach.
